Co-operative building societies conducted by Dutch interests in Australia have a well oiled machine ready to take full advantage of overseas funds which have been promised to help migrants from the Netherlands to finance home building in NSW, VIC and Qld. It was announced from Amsterdam in August, 1958, that the Netherlands Government had negotiated a dollar loan of 1 300 000 Pounds Australian to augment building society finance as it became available through the usual channels in Australia.
