Former Finns in festive mood invaded Canberra at Easter time. Nearly a thousand migrants from many parts of Australia gathered in the Capital for their fourth annual National Festival. At Canberra's Albert Hall, Ainslie Oval and two gymnasiums, they competed in cultural and sports contests. Between events, they went sight-seeing and in their colourful national dress, attracted much attention from holiday-makers as they skipped through many of Canberra's public buildings and parks.
