Bill Gosbee, who migrated from Plumstead, England after selling his home in 1949 at the age of 53 says: "You are never too old to start a new life, and when it means the realisation of an ambition, then it makes you young again anyway." The Gosbees and their sons have their own property 25 miles from Rockhampton, Queensland and Mr Gosbee, a railway fettler by trade, intends to work it full-time when he retires next year. Florence Gosbee hands cut freshly pick oranges to her husband and sons on their beautifully wooded Australian farm. The field in which they are working provided a fine crop of cotton last year and will be used to grow watermelons this year
