Germans in the Barossa Valley - Fourteen years ago Herman Thumm, a German migrant with a capital of 300 Australian Pounds, spent half of his money as the deposit on an old deserted flour mill in the Barossa Valley of South Australia. He used the rest of his money as the deposit on necessary equipment for wine-making. Today his firm, Yaldara Wines, produces 1500000 bottles of beautiful Australian wine annually.
