Potter John Langdon has established an art studio at the top of a mountain escarpment with sweeping views of typical Australian coastal bushland and the blue Pacific Ocean. It has become a major attraction with tourists and holidaymakers visiting the surfing resorts below the mountain. Mr Langdon came to Australia in May, 1959, with his wife, Micheline, who is of French descent, from Golant, Fowey, South Cornwall. He learned pottery at Darlington Hall, Totnes, South Devon, an adult education centre. Mr Langdon at work on his potter's wheel
