Former British Colonial Service veterinarian, Bill Lancaster, 55, migrated from Sussex a year ago to "retire and be lazy" in Australia. Within three months Adelaide Zoo board members convinced him he should take the post of zoo director. Bill had perfect qualifications. An animal lover all his life, the friendly Englishman has a new favourite, the cuddly koala bear. Dutch migrant, Hers Nuus, 30, has been Adelaide Zoo elephant keeper for 2 years. He migrated from Groeveweg 39, Oostwold, Prov Groningen, and lives now at 12, Hawker Avenue, Strathmont
