Catering. Konstantinos Liappis, 39, who migrated to SA from Kozanis in Greece, was working in a State Railways repair gang soon after his arrival, when a new cook was wanted for the gang. "Con" volunteered and was soon learning to be a chef instead of working as a carpenter. Now he is third chef in the giant SA Railways dining rooms in Adelaide.
