Dutch comedian Max Tailleur recently visited Australia to help make emigrants from his own country feel that they were not forgotten by their old friends "at home". Mr Tailleur, proprietor of the well known Amsterdam cabaret "De Doofpot". Mr Tailleur came to Australia by arrangement with KLM and the Dutch Australian Weekly. Various associations of Dutch Emigrants in the different States of Australia co-operated. From his first public appearance to an almost all Dutch audience, at Miranda, a suburb of Sydney, his tour was an outstanding success. Mr G S Dusseldorf, formerly of Holland, shows Max Tailleur over a display centre in which Sydney's most modern buildings and development schemes are shown.
