Bushwalking, camping, canoeing, rock climbing - these were some of the activities at a combined adventure school, conducted by the National Fitness Council of Victoria, at Hall's Gap, in the Grampian Mountains of Victoria, from May 16-24. Thirty girls and 12 boys, aged from 15 to 18 years, attended the school. A highlight was a three day hike; other activities included a folk dancing, a film evening, expedition planning, and instruction in bush safety, first aid, tent pitching and camp cooking. Mrs Pamella Scott, from Britain, the adventure school's cook, gives five of the girls' advice on camp cooking. From left are Winifrid James, Robyn Dixon, Roberta Iggulden, Elizabeth Barrow and Margaret Warland
