Former Bergamo man, Giovani Imberti, recently returned to Australia after 18 months stay in his homeland and said: "the Australian way of life is best". Giovani is back in Boulder, the biggest goldmining centre in the Commonwealth, where he was for 7 years the licensee of a local hotel and for 3 years a member of the town council. Johnny migrated to WA in September 1950, and his wife and son Frank, now 19, joined in 1953. Boulder and its "Twin" Town Kalgoorlie have a combined population of more than 20, 000, the biggest centre in the State outside of Perth. Johnny Imberti, hoists son Walter up to pick figs from a laden tree n the garden of their home in Boulder, WA, his wife Josephine and elder son Frank also lend a hand.
