An Arts and Crafts exhibition arranged by the Good Neighbour Council of Victoria was one of the highlights of the 1958 Melbourne Royal Show. The display featured priceless family heirlooms, needlework, hand-woven fabrics, laces, pottery, ceramics, glassware and sculpture from 14 European national groups. Girls in national costume acted as guides for the thousands who daily visited the pavilion. 7 October 1958
