The Good Neighbour Council of NSW held its 1960 State Conference at Federation House in Sydney over the weekend of October 28/29, 1960. Opened officially for the second year in succession by the State Governor, Lt General Sir Eric Woodward, the conference was attended by 300 delegates from 54 provincial branches in NSW and representatives of affiliated organisations and State and Federal Departments. Mr David Fairbairn, M H R, who represented the Minister for Immigration, Mr A R Downer, M H R, at the conference examines with Mr G Sutcliffe, co-ordinator of Good Neighbour Activities section of a pictorial display showing examples of how immigrants have helped build and provide staff for the new Chevron Hotel in Sydney, Australia's biggest hotel TITLE:
