Girls from the United Kingdom almost took all the honours in the final of South Australia's "Miss Elizabeth Quest this month. Four of the five finalists were British migrants and the winner, Elizabeth Griffiths, migrated from Cardiff with her parents. The contest was held as part of the fourth Birthday Celebrations of Elizabeth, a model city being built on fertile rolling plains 17 miles north of Adelaide. Named Elizabeth after Queen Elizabeth, the new city will have 40 000 people by 1965 and about 60 000 in 1970. The Premier of South Australia ( Sir Thomas Playford) presents the winner's sash to Elizabeth Griffiths
