Ingomar Netliv. Three migrants were among the people who received awards from the Queen at an investiture at Government House during the Royal Visit to Canberra in March, 1963. They were Mr Ingomar Netliv, of Canberra, who was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire, in recognition of his services in migrant integration; Mr Helmut Tschaffert, who received the Polar medal for his services in the Antarctic and Mr Hosrt Kahlsdorf, of Cooma, who was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for his services as Senior Technical Officer with the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Authority. Estonian born Mr Netliv is a senior compiler with the Bureau of Census and Statistics in Canberra and came to Australia from Germany 15 years ago
