The industrial Southern States of Australia have for many years assembled motorcars and produced Australian-built cars. Now car assembly has begun in the northern tropical state of Queensland where Buzacotts Ltd of Brisbane, are assembling German Lloyd Hartnett cars for distribution in Queensland and northern NSW. 17 or the 34 workers on the new project are new Australians, from England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, Lithuania, Italy and Denmark. They are assembling six cars a day and hope that this is a start for a large new industry in Queensland. Bruno Schultz, from Trieste, used to be a crane driver. He came to Australia in 1954 and his first work was cutting sugar cane in North Queensland
