pine forests South Australia - In the far south-east of South Australia, some 3000 people live and work among the forests of exotic pine trees and associated mills. Government owned sawmills at Nangwarry and Mt Burr in the Penola forest, handle more than 4 000 000 cubic feet of pine logs a year. Scottish migrant Kenneth Donald Campbell, 46, is a saw doctor at Nangwarry mill. From 71 John Street, Ayr, he has been in Australia for three tears.
