Some 30 new settlers from Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Holland, Poland and Yugoslavia are among 200 men working on a project to double the size of the famous Murrumbidgee Irrigation Areas within 10 years. Dutch fitter, Leendert Ringelenberg, 39, came to Australia 8 years ago from Oud-Beierland, near Rotterdam, where he was a fishmonger. He has become a skilled tradesman since coming to Australia, now earns a wage of about 18 Australian pounds a week. Plus about 7 Australian pounds a week overtime
