Some 30 new settlers from Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Holland, Poland and Yugoslavia are among 200 men working on a project to double the size of the famous Murrumbidgee Irrigation Areas within 10 years. Scot Labourer Hugh Shields, 38, Kilmarnock, works on forming for the concrete abutments of Gogeldrie Weir. He came to Australia nine years ago, now lives in the irrigation area town of Leeton
