Many post-war migrants are among 30,000 people who live in the New South Wales Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, regarded as the richest 600 square miles of country in Australia. Well developed vineyard at the village of Bilbul, near Griffith, in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. Italian-born Giannion Snaidero counts barrels of wine in one of the wineries of the M.I.A. The winery was established by a pre-war Italian migrant, Vittorio De Bortoli. He has 46 acres of vineyards, crushes about 1100 tons of grapes a year
