During Tasmanian Immigration Week, June 5-12, 1960, a survey disclosed that post war migrants made up about 10% of the men and women who keep Hobart "ticking" and plan and build for the future. These people ranged from architects to bricklayers, from typists to bus drivers. They work in factories and offices, shops and power stations.
