A 'film star' reception awaited blonde, blue-eyed Franziska Freidhofer when she arrived in Melbourne by air from Germany in November. Franziska, 30, is one of the single German girls who have come to Australia as a result of the appeal of the Minister for Immigration, Mr Downer, to European girls to migrate. Mr Downer made the appeal during a visit to Europe this year. Maria was among 85 German migrants who flew from Bremen in a Qantas Super Constellation
