When a large party of Ulster men and women emigrating to Australia reached Sydney in brilliant summer conditions last week (Sunday 9th December) the NSW Ulster Association turned out in force to welcome them. The Red Hand of Ulster was worn by Ulster emigrants who had settled in earlier years in Sydney, and their president, Mr T Morrow carried the emblem on a banner waved high among the hundreds waiting on the quay as the liner CASTEL FELICE was berthed
