Four members of a Polish refugee family from a displaced persons camp in Germany have arrived in Australia and found their first home for 20 years. Marcin Reczniarek, 41, his wife Janina, 34, and sons Jerzy 13 and Marian, 11, have been adopted by the municipality of Wingham in the North coast district of NSW. They were provided with a new three bedroom house and Marcin was given a job with the council. Members of the Wingham World Refugee Year Committee boarded the Castel Felice in Sydney Harbour to welcome the family. At right, the Town Clerk of Wingham, Mr John Foxon, welcomes Marcin Reczniarek.
