An Arts and Crafts exhibition arranged by the Good Neighbour Council of Victoria was one of the highlights of the 1959 Royal Melbourne Show. The display featured priceless family heirlooms, needlework, hand-woven fabrics, laces, pottery, ceramics, glassware and sculpture from 10 European national groups. Thousands of Victorian people very day visited the pavilion to admire the attractively displayed exhibits. In the centre of the room dolls, dressed in national costume, were displayed.
