In Australia's multi-national atmosphere has developed a unique annual National Music Camp of Australia - an informal gathering of Australia's leading musicians and students. There are no formal barriers between students and tutors - they dress alike in holiday clothes, eat together, play together. Students from England, Scotland, Wales, Holland, Poland and Germany bring a rich cultural inheritance from old to new homeland. Music Camp provides a rare opportunity for leading musicians to gather and study musical works seldom heard in Australia. Left to right: Thomas Wightman, bassoonist and former member of Sir Thomas Beecham's Orchestra; Thomas and Roy White of the Victorian Symphony Orchestra, and world famous Czech-born oboist Jiri Tancibudek.
