
Miss Maryke de Geus held the first exhibition in a new art gallery in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The paintings are hung in the open air from and under gumtrees. It was Miss de Geus's first solo exhibition in Brisbane, although she has held one woman exhibitions in provincial cities.
