Sixteen Belgian families - comprising 43 adults and 50 children, arrived at Melbourne by a Chartered Qantas Britannia as assisted migrants from Brussels in February, 1962 - The flight was arranged by the Intergovernmental Committee for European Migration and came to Australia via India, Singapore and Darwin - One of the largest families to arrive was that of Mr Oscar Dhyon and his wife, Lucie, from Anderlecht, and their 10 children comprised the largest family in the group - In the back row, from the left, are; Lucien, 16 , Mrs Dhyon holding Maria, 10 months, Monique, 11, Jenny, 13, Rosette, 14, holding two year old Dominique and Mr Dhyon, front row, from left - Patrick, 3, Bernard, 6, Jean-Pierre, 8 and Martina, 9 : CATEGORY : photograph , FORMAT : b&w negative ;TYPE : cellulose acetate; STATUS : preservation material
