A University, heavily endowed with a migrant academic staff and sprinkled with students from many parts of the world, has sprouted into a unique position as a seat of learning in Australia within the last nine years. This is the University of New England at Armidale in NSW. It is surrounded by rich sheep and cattle properties and the beautiful bush country of the New England plateau. Here is third year Arts student Benita Jacino, 20, left, and Arts Honours student Gabrielle Schmidt, 20

After all of these years, I found you. I shouldn't really tell you how many times I searched the WWW for you. You look great in this photo. Crap. How long has it been? 43 years. How can that be?

As ever,

Ed Schuman
