Hans Westerman, of Leiden, The Netherlands, has been appointed Deputy Chief Planner for Canberra, ACT. Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory is a fast-growing community, and the seat of Federal Government. Mr Westerman and his wife migrated to Australia 12 years ago, and he has since been a town planner in Tasmania, Australia's Island State, and Adelaide, capital of SA.
