
During her recent tour of Australia Mrs Jane Moody, Deputy Chief of the Inter-governmental Committee for European Migration (I C E M) in Athens visited Riverland Hostel and Cannery a Berri, SA, where she met Greek girls employed at the canning factory. Mrs Moody inspected the working conditions in the factory and the living conditions in the hostel and talked to the girls about their problems. Object of Mrs Moody's visit was to collect first-hand information on Greek single girl migrants that can be used and amend the ICEM training scheme in Athens. A group of Greek girls shows Mrs Moody.
