Every week-end the air over Sydney Harbour is used to power the billowing sails of hundreds of yachts of many shapes and sizes as they make use of one of the finest natural waterways in the world. The men and women who man the boats come from many walks of life and many countries. One of the biggest advantages which Australian yachtsmen have over others is a temperate climate which enables sailing to continue throughout the year. A fair wind, a fine sky, and a brilliant sunset combine to make sailing on the harbour a real pleasure. The famous Sydney Harbour Bridge is in the background
