Every week-end the air over Sydney Harbour is used to power the billowing sails of hundreds of yachts of many shapes and sizes as they make use of one of the finest natural waterways in the world. The men and women who man the boats come from many walks of life and many countries. One of the biggest advantages which Australian yachtsmen have over others is a temperate climate which enables sailing to continue throughout the year. Five 16ft Finn class boats line up on the beach outside the Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club. This class of boat is not as popular in Australia as it is in Britain and the continent but popularity is increasing
