The fourth annual party of 119 graduates and undergraduates from British universities arrived in Australia, by air on July 7 1966. They were travelling to Australia by charter flight during British universities summer vacation. The visit was arranged by the English Speaking Union and the Australian Government. The group of 119 included 17 women, and were dispersed to work in all states. Most of the undergraduates planned to finish their visit of Australia by taking holiday trips to other parts of Australia before returning to Britain on September 26.
