Little Brothers (from Britain) at BBM (Big Brother Movement; later known as British Boys Movement) War Memorial Training Farm Established in 1925 to assist young men from Britain to emigrate to Australia for rural occupations, the Big Brother Movement today places boys in commercial and industrial careers as well. Since the inception of the scheme, 5870 boys have come to Australia under this branch of the country's assisted Immigration programme. Animal husbandry is an important part of the farm's training. John Johnson, 17, from Worksop, Nottinghamshire (left), and Bill Evans, 16, from Berkshire, get tips from Chris Maunsell, 22, who came to Australia as a "little brother" and is now a farm overseer
