More than 200 delegates from all over Australia attended the Eleventh Australian Citizenship Convention in Canberra from February 9 to 11, 1960. The delegates had before them four agenda papers covering a wide range of subjects allied to Immigration. These papers were exhaustively discussed in group sessions at the Australian Academy of Science Building and in plenary sessions at the Albert Hall. The delegates were accorded receptions by the Minister for Immigration Mr Downer and the Governor General Lord Dunrossil.
