People from all parts of the British Isles welcome Britain's Prime Minister, Mr Harold Macmillan throughout his tour of Australia this month. More than half-million British people have migrated to Australia since World War II and they continue at the rate of nearly 50,000 a year. While in Melbourne, Mr Macmillan visited Nunawading Hostel on the outskirts of the city. The hostel provides temporary accommodation for British migrants who otherwise would not have been able to migrate. Mr Mcmillan chats to members of the staff who provide schooling for children of British migrants.
