A former circus acrobat from Germany has just been appointed assistant head keeper at Melbourne's Zoological Gardens. He is Ernst Weber, of 359 Pigdon Street, North Melbourne. Mr Weber was trained as an acrobat by his father, Mr Otto Weber, who owned a circus in Germany. In 1955, six months after he arrived in Australia he became an assistant keeper at the Melbourne zoo. Assistant head keeper at the Melbourne Zoological Gardens, Ernst Weber, from Germany, has specialized in caring for reptiles.
